Randy Bentson
From GSLUG
Except for portable stuff like Java and Python based applications, almost all my programming in the last three decades has been in a Unix/Linux environment. I booted my first Unix system on July 3, 1981. About a dozen years later I booted Linux on a PC which continued service until 2006. I'm happy that I've had the chance to contribute code to various Open Source efforts, including the Linux kernel. There's no doubt that collaborative coding is the way to go!
I'm glad to see GSLUG's 15th anniversary. It's well worth the drive from Tacoma to attend meetings.
Now that I've completed a second period in academia, I'm interested in new work opportunities of all kinds. Check out my resume at http://www.holmsjoen.com/bentson/Resume41B.pdf Contact me at bentson At Holmsjoen dOt com
