I'm a long in the tooth *nix and device hacker who's attempting to be more social in Seattle. Been working with Linux and *BSD for ages, and am always curious about new applications and uses for them. I run a hosting and consulting business based here in Seattle called Default Route. I manage tech ops for a living, but am toying with the idea of opening a smoothie stand or starting my own religion instead.

I'm also into punk rock, cooking and eating fine foods, drinking alcoholic beverages(*), options/forex/futures trading and being a family man.

(*) not so much since becoming 'family man'.
