Name

Google Fremont Engineering/Sales office.

Location/Address

651 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103
(206) 876-1800

Note that the address is 34th Street, but it's actually one block south of 34th street. If you see Waiting for the Interurban, Peet's Coffee, and PCC, you're on the real 34th street, you need to go one block south on Evanston Ave N.

Accessibility by car/bus/train/bike...

  • Northlake Way between Evanston and Fremont Ave.
  • Bus lines: Routes 26, 28, 30 & 31 stop at real 34th & Fremont (above). Route 17 stops at Westlake & Fremont walk across bridge. Routes 5, 16 & 46 stop at 38th. and Bridge Wy. walk down hill half mile.
  • The building is adjacent to the Burke-Gilman trail and the Fremont bridge.

Parking (capacity/street/off-street)

Nearby on-street parking and pay lots, residential parking a few blocks away.

All street parking is metered with a 2 hour limit. This makes it necessary to have a mid-meeting break so people can move their cars.

There are ~8 spots directly in front of the building, and more to the west (between the Google office and the Sound Mind and Body gym). There is a pay lot under the Fremont bridge just to the east of the building, and another further to the east which is reachable via Stone way. The pay lots are $5 all day.

For those who don't mind a few blocks walk and don't want to pay, there's generally parking up in the residential areas on Evanston, Dayton, and Francis avenues.

I sometimes park further away i.e. near Gasworks park, where parking is free, and ride my bike the remaining distance on the Burke-Gilman trail. --Delimiter 16:09, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
