9/01/11 - Looking for Embedded Software Engineers (Kirkland, Washington)
AZAD is assembling a team of “rock star” software engineers to contribute to the deployment of the he next generation of the cable industry product line. This is an excellent opportunity to join AZAD’s team of professionals and be responsible for the design, development, debugging and deployment of the next generation product line for its client in the cable industry.
The ideal candidate will possess the following the following qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience with design and developing of embedded software for complex real-time and multi-tasking systems.
- Proven experience developing on Linux based platforms.
- Excellent embedded programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience working with video streaming is a bit plus.
- Experience with memory, I/O interfaces and software performance testing and optimization is a big plus.
- Demonstrated ability to transform high level concepts into viable system architecture, requirements description, and then develop a working software system.
- Experience with embedded device level communication protocols.
- Knowledge of Real time operating systems.
- Experience with BSP and RTOS porting and bring-up.
- Knowledge of I/O and debug interfaces.
- Experience with Broadcom Chipset 3380, 3320, or 7410 is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Need Python, MySQL programmer
MediaPacifica, a division of Pacific Galleries in Seattle needs someone that can navigate the Linux command line, administer MySQL and work with simple python. Experience with a GUI DB front end called Rekall is a plus.
